Job Summary
The Senior Engineer serves as a high-level Electrical Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Propulsion mission area at Arnold Engineering Development Complex. This position is responsible for providing expert technical guidance on both current operations and future capital investment projects. The role is designed for a veteran engineer who can bridge the gap between historical facility knowledge and modern sustainment strategies, ensuring mission continuity through rigorous technical consultations.

Job Duties:
- Provide expert level technical support as needed for current and investment related projects for the Propulsion mission area as required such as A-Exhaust modes, T11 Independent Air Planning, Outage Backfeeds, and VFSS controls installation and checkout.
- Share technical expertise, knowledge, and lessons learned with less experienced engineers as related to plant or test assets’ maintenance, operation, and sustainment.
- Provide technical consultations as requested from management or Engineering Advisory Board
- Advise senior management on technical and programmatic issues as requested.
- It is a condition of employment to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
- Perform other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications:
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university plus a minimum of 15 years of progressive engineering experience, preferably in a major aerospace, defense, or aerothermal test environment (such as AEDC or equivalent federal/commercial facilities)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret level security clearance and access to the AEDC local area network.
- Due to Air Force Security requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required for employment at AEDC.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount BNH is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time jobs will be adjusted based upon the number of hours agreed to work at location Tennessee: Arnold Air Force, TN.Â
