We're opening in San Francisco. We're hiring the person who will be the first face of it.

At Shegerian & Associates, California's premier plaintiff-side employment law firm, every detail matters. That starts the moment someone walks through our door or calls our front desk. As the Legal Receptionist for our new San Francisco office, you're not just managing a front desk. You're setting the tone for a firm that has recovered over $1 billion for people who needed someone in their corner.

This is a rare chance to get in at the start. You'll help build this office from day one, and how you handle that front desk will shape what our San Francisco clients believe about us before they ever meet an attorney.

We're looking for someone polished, warm, and exceptionally sharp. Someone who takes pride in doing the small things perfectly, because here, the small things are anything but small.

What You'll Do
  • Be the first face and voice of the firm, greeting clients and visitors with professionalism and genuine warmth
  • Manage a multi-line phone system and route calls with speed and accuracy
  • Schedule, reschedule, and track appointments, keeping the calendar tight and the team on track
  • Collect and summarize key details from potential new clients to support the intake process
  • Respond to emails promptly and professionally
  • Upload, organize, and manage documents with precision
  • Keep CRM records current, accurate, and complete
  • Collaborate across the firm to keep daily operations running seamlessly

This description captures the primary nature and level of work for this role. Additional duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may apply beyond those listed here.

What Makes You the One
  • You have experience as a receptionist or front desk professional, ideally in a legal setting
  • Your communication is clear, warm, and professional — in person, on the phone, and in writing
  • You're highly organized and can juggle competing priorities without dropping the ball
  • You're proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new systems
  • Your attention to detail is automatic, not an afterthought
  • You handle sensitive information with discretion and take confidentiality seriously
