JOB SUMMARY
This is a position within Saint Francis/Hyde Hospital Rehabilitation Services department.
The Rehabilitative Services Aide (HA 2) reports to the therapists of a particular service or disciplineÂ
(OT/PT/SLP) and provides both direct and indirect patient care services.Â
At this level, the employee is responsible for the treatment of patients who require the direct supervision andÂ
daily guidance of an Occupational, Physical and/or Speech therapist. The Rehabilitative Services Aide worksÂ
primarily with adult, geriatric, adolescent patients from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds,Â
although pediatric patients may be treated if the Rehab Aide has completed required competency training.Â
The Rehabilitative aide actively participates in departmental and organizational programs, includingÂ
performance improvement activities, inservices, and staff development activities.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF.
