Kanpai Bar and Lounge is open for dinner.    Essential Functions: Requires two years Sushi Cook experience, preferably in a high volume, luxury hotel/restaurant. Accurate knife skills, and the ability to read and follow recipes and communicate and interact with fellow employees and guests in English. This position reports directly to the Restaurant Chef. This position will be directly involved in developing the sushi offerings and must have cooking skills and acumen. Maintain safety and cleanliness of work area Inform Restaurant Chef of deficiencies in stock or quality Interact in courteous and professional manner with guests and hotel staff Decrease risk of food spoilage through proper rotation of food stock, proper storage of food before and after use, and proper chilling of items used. Must be able to work with many types of personalities with professionalism. Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail while handling several tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
