Job Description

As a Data Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience ingesting and managing data across big data platforms, making it accessible to the business to support informed decision-making and actionable insights. Working alongside experienced engineers, data scientists, and architects, you will contribute to building scalable data solutions while learning how data is designed, managed, and applied across enterprise systems.

This role provides exposure to real-world projects in a collaborative environment, offering opportunities to strengthen your technical skills and build a strong foundation for a future career in data engineering and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Python, PySpark, SQL, and other data engineering tools.
• Leverage coding agents and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate the delivery of data pipelines.
• Develop enterprise-grade code and establish scalable, repeatable processes.
• Operationalize data pipelines and improve data quality across systems and analytics solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and data architects across multiple projects.
• Partner with internal teams to support data initiatives, improve processes, and enhance performance.
• Create clear, accurate, and business-ready technical documentation.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Pursuing a graduate degree in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Python, PySpark, SQL, GitHub, and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively under time-sensitive deadlines.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot is helpful but not required.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
