Carpenter

Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Commercial and Residential Carpenters for upcoming projects in San Diego, CA.

Pay: $28–$30/hr based on experience and skillset.

Carpenter Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Construct, install, repair, and modify wood and metal framing and support systems
• Perform commercial and/or residential framing and general carpentry
• Install and finish interior elements including drywall, doors, windows, cabinetry, and trim
• Perform accurate measurements, layout, cutting, and installation
• Install siding, insulation, flooring, roofing components, and other building materials as required
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
• Work alongside other trades to complete projects safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow company/jobsite safety requirements

Carpenter Qualifications:

• 3+ years of commercial and/or residential carpentry experience
• Must have own basic carpentry tools and PPE
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to read blueprints and perform layout work preferred
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 is a plus
• Supervisory/lead experience is a plus
