Directs the daily management of the activities of the Card Operations team including debit and credit card servicing and credit card/atm disputes management. Responsible for timely and accurate service operations, delivery and compliance with established guidelines, regulations, and deadlines. Leads the development and execution of the Card strategy, including identifying business needs and assessing opportunities for improvement specific to the credit and debit card business. Manages the implementation of reporting, tracking, and logging mechanisms to be utilized in work queue management, better problem determination, resolution, change control and auditing of the Management Team areas of responsibilities. Accountable for the measurement of and efforts to drive overall card portfolio performance, including competitiveness, distribution and customer lifecycle management. Responsible for developing competitive products and collaborating with project team and various departments for product changes, product rollouts and production implementations. Manages the day-to-day interactions with numerous critical vendors related to card branding, processing and rewards management. Protects the Credit Union against loss and/or liability by ensuring Card Operations has adequate documentation of processes, understanding of risks and placement of controls. Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization’s Values.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and/or comparable experience. Minimum of ten (10) years of Card related experience and/or comparable experience. Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in a financial institution. Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel. Analytical ability to balance complex work of varied nature. Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail. Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
