About the Role:
Spaulding MFG Inc is looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our manufacturing team in Saginaw, MI! Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments in a timely manner
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a regular basis
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reporting
- Generate financial reports and summaries for management review
- Track and record manufacturing costs, inventory, and job costing data
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
- Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus
- Proficiency in bookkeeping software such as Sage 50 or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of general ledger, AP/AR, and bank reconciliation
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Associate's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
