Position Summary

Pacific Tech Communications Inc. (PTC) is seeking a qualified Coax Technician to support fiber optic and telecommunications construction projects. This position plays a key role in safe, compliant, and production-driven execution of OSP and ISP infrastructure builds.


Key Responsibilities

• Execute assigned construction and installation tasks per engineered specifications

• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently

• Maintain daily production and safety reporting

• Follow OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards

• Coordinate with crew members and supervisors to meet production goals


Required Qualifications

• Relevant experience in telecommunications or construction field operations

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs (role dependent)

• Valid driver’s license


Preferred Qualifications

• CDL preferred

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

• Experience in fiber optic construction environments


Physical Requirements

• Extended standing, lifting, and bending

• Ability to work at heights (if applicable to role)

• Exposure to outdoor and high-traffic environments
