Bruceville Terrace has been providing quality, compassionate care since 1989. Licensed as the 171-bed sub-acute skilled nursing facility of Methodist Hospital of Sacramento, Bruceville Terrace offers care for the elderly, as well as those requiring extended recoveries.Â
Bruceville Terrace provides skilled nursing, rehabilitative and complex medical services to our patients and residents using an interdisciplinary team approach. Over half of the facility is dedicated to skilled nursing/convalescent care, while the remaining beds are committed to meet the medical and rehabilitative needs of the short-term patient after a stay at the acute care hospital. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction.

Every day, you will help deliver compassionate basic care, assist with patient transport, and actively contribute to the patient's plan of care as a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, upholding the highest standards of conduct and patient well-being.

- Technical Skills: Competent in psychomotor skills and technical procedures within scope of practice. Includes care of patient drains, tubes, special equipment, ADL's, mobility, Hospital Information System proficiency, I & O, response in emergency.
- Performs legible, timely, concise and accurate documentation according to policies and procedures.
- Proficient and competent with the computerized documentation system.
- Organizational Skills: Uses appropriate organization, priority setting and problem solving skills.
- Self Development: Is accountable for self-directed learning and participation in continuing education to meet own professional development.
- Patient Safety: Applies safety precautions and principles to patient care. Includes all applicable National Patient Safety Goals.
Job Requirements
Required:
- One (1) year SNF/LTC care of the aged, acutely ill,chronically ill and patients in need ofrestorative care.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing assistant program.
- Certified Nursing Assistant: CA
- Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to communicate proficiently both orally and in writing in the English Language.
