Horizons Residential Care Center is hiring Weekend Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential home environment.

Position Details

• Schedule: Part-Time (Saturday & Sunday)
• Shifts Available:
  • 8 or 12-hr shifts
  • First Shift
  • Second Shift 
  • 3rd Shift
• Location: Rural Hall and/or Bethania NC
• Pay: Starting at $15/hour (based on experience)

What You’ll Do

• Support residents with daily routines (meals, hygiene, activities)
• Encourage independence and skill-building
• Assist with community engagement and social activities
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment
• Document care and daily progress
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

What You’ll Bring

• Positive attitude and reliability
• Interest in working with individuals with disabilities
• Ability to follow care plans and routines
• Strong communication skills

Requirements

• Must be 18+ with high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs
• Willingness to complete required training

Preferred:

• Experience in caregiving, DSP, or healthcare
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Valid driver’s license
