Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro, NC is a full-service hospital where caring, kindness, and compassion join modern facilities and equipment to provide you the best possible health care. We provide comprehensive health care services to Person County and surrounding areas, licensed for 98 beds. We strive to meet the ever-changing needs of our patients. Person Memorial Hospital, and the Pathology and Clinical Laboratory are accredited by The Joint Commission.
How you’ll contributeÂ
The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) performs a variety of routine laboratory tests and procedures to support accurate diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. Working under the direction of the Director of Laboratory Services, the MLT is responsible for analyzing specimens, reporting test results, maintaining laboratory equipment, performing quality control procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely laboratory services in a collaborative healthcare environment.

What we’re looking for
Applicants should haveÂ
- Associate Degree in Science (Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Science) required
- Basic Life Support certification required
- Active and valid Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) licensure through ASCP or AMT (licensure must reflect education requirements)Â
- Or eligible for certification with requirement to obtain within six (6) months of hire date
