Maintenance Carpenter

Position Summary:

The Maintenance Carpenter is responsible for construction in building projects and building repair and maintenance. 

Responsibilities: 

• Perform new wood, metal, and masonry construction 

• Refer to blueprints, renderings or instructions to build and install rough/finish carpentry 

• Perform building repairs, both interior and exterior, including ceilings, walls, trim, doors, window, and roofs 

• Paint constructed materials as needed 

• Perform minor repairs to equipment 

• Perform and document preventative maintenance as assigned 

• Appropriately safeguard work areas 

• Return work areas to clean and orderly condition 

• Organize and maintain related departmental equipment and supplies 

• Provide support to other Maintenance staff as requested, including grounds maintenance and equipment installation or alterations 

• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned 

Requirements:

•High School Diploma or GED 

• 5 years of practical experience in an industrial environment in both new construction and building repair 

• Good math and computer skills 

• Ability to read blueprints 

• Good organizational and communication skills 

• Reliable transportation (car or truck) 

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record 

• Must provide own basic carpentry tools

The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity.

The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components include health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, retirement plan, volunteer opportunities, paid holidays, overtime opportunities, and many more.

$22.44 per hour - $31.79 per hour

($46,675.20 - $66,123.20 annually)
