Description

Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Railcar - PSR

Reports To: Department Supervisor

FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt


1st Shift

Hours: Monday-Friday 5:00AM to 1:30PM

Overtime is required based on production needs. 

Pay: $17.50/Hour 

 

Summary Tends pump that pumps incoming ingredients from tankers and/or railcars to storage tank and cleans and sanitizes tankers and/or railcars by performing the following duties.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


• Dips and pours sample of ingredient from vent hole of tanker/railcar into bottle for laboratory analysis.

• Connects hose between sanitary valves of tanker/railcar and storage tank, starts pump, and turns valves to transfer ingredient to tank.

• Stops pump when transfer is completed.

• Disconnects hose from tanker/railcar and connects nozzle of tank cleaning system to tanker/railcar.

• Starts equipment that automatically rinses, washes, and sanitizes interior of tanker/railcar.

• Removes nozzle and seals vent hole.

• Washes exterior of tanker/railcar and pumping equipment.

• Fills totes with raw goods.
