Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Observation in Spartanburg, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate clearly, report observations, and provide outstanding customer service while demonstrating Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.48 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
