The Supervisor - Surgical Core is responsible for assisting with the operation of the surgical cores, instrument rooms and operating room the prosthesis and supply areas. Coordinates and performs daily activities that support the surgical practice. Provides supervision of staff assigned to the cores, and/or the supply and prosthesis areas, maintenance of inventory, instrumentation, implant management and maintenance and updating of the surgical inventory management system. The individual will be involved in various personnel actions, including hiring staff, staffing the unit, conducting performance appraisals, corrective actions, and processing timecards.
