The Associate Buyer performs purchasing activities in support of production and company’s operation requirements. This role works with internal customers and external suppliers in managing procurement related deliverables, as per company standard practice, to support our internal Supply Chain metrics. Success in the role includes a positive and proactive approach to daily work along with strong communication and organizational skills.DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to: Â
Â
Send Purchase Order Action (POA) reports to suppliersand manage PO Actions in weekly basisÂ
Generate and manage purchase order releases for indirect materials, services, and Capex, may support production releasesÂ
Monitor, track, and provide feedback to accurately communicate the PO StatusÂ
Maintain and set up parts in ERP as needed (Preferred supplier, Prime MPN, MOQ/MPQ, Leadtime, NCNR)Â
Work with ProcurementManager/Direct of Supply Chain to obtain authorization on pricing, NCNR, premium freight, and materials liability  Â
Source for material shortages to reduce delivery impact yet minimizing unfavorable PPV & excess inventory Â
Manage Material Review Board (MRB) items related to quality, receiving issues, ECO, and NCR including returns to suppliersÂ
Execute contractchangesÂ
Execute PFEP (Plan for Every Part)/VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory, i.e., Kanban, Breadman) changes recommended by Commodity Manager/Procurement Manager/Director of Supply ChainÂ
Adhere to supplier approval and review processesÂ
Manage stock levels of shop floor consumables, office supplies and equipmentÂ
Monitor, maintain and replenish common consumable’s areaÂ
Review packing slips for accuracy of products,put awaymaterials, and approve invoicesÂ
Daily walk about to ensure appropriate stock levels of needed supplies & consumablesÂ
Credit card buys and expense reportsÂ
Drive cost reduction and supplier negotiations for items not owned by commodity managementÂ
Work with Finance/Supplier/Commodity Manager to resolve invoice issuesÂ
Support Buyers onprocurement activitiesÂ
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the ManagerÂ

QUALIFICATIONS:Â
Â
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Supply Chain is required or related field.
Proficient English business communications skills, both written and verbal Â
Proficiency in operating a computer including using a Windows based operating systems and related software Â
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel (v-lookups, data filters, pivot tables etc.)Â Â
Excellent organizational and administrative skills Â
Self-motivated team player, able to work well under pressure Â
Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilitiesÂ

Working ConditionsÂ
The working environment is generally clean; however, this position may be exposed to occasional dust, metals/solder occasional exposure to high noise levels from operating machines or physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts. The employee must wear designated PPE where required. Otherwise, office/business casual attire is appropriate.Â
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $20.00- $27.00 per hour; a shift differential may also be provided depending on the work hours. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and benefits. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, education, location, and shift.Â
