Sonic Summary

The position involves performing daily functions as a slot floor person and supervising the slot floor team.
Responsibilities include training staff on new technology, managing ticket information, and ensuring accountability in work zones.
Candidates must possess good verbal communication skills, basic math skills, and a Mississippi Gaming License, with a minimum age requirement of 21.
The role requires a strong understanding of slot machine operations and involves reporting to Gaming Ops Supervisors or Shift Managers.
The salary for this position is competitive, and prior experience in a similar role is preferred.

BASIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform the functions of a slot floor person on a daily basis

• Front-line supervision of slot floor person.

• Hold slot floor person accountable for patrolling work zones.

• Promotes Teamwork across all departments.

• Train slot floor people on new technology/expectations.

• Level of authority for JP overrides and sign-offs.

• Research ticket information within the Oasis System and slot machine tracking log.

• Research promotional credit transactions within the Oasis System and slot machine tracking log.

• Understands all detail visible on a slot machine’s compass unit.

• Reports to Gaming Ops Supervisor/Shift Managers.

• Clears currency jams in slot bill acceptors.

• Performs general machine maintenance and ticket fills.

• Pays and/or verifies hand-paid slot jackpots.

• Answers guests' questions relating to slot machine pay tables and property promotions and events.

Other duties as assigned by management

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION):

• Good verbal communication skills.

• Basic math skills

• Mississippi Gaming License Required.

• Must be at least 21 of age.
