We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician with strong electronics fundamentals, excellent troubleshooting ability, and experience working with test equipment and electronic hardware to support electronics production, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and engineering-related activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot electronic hardware by testing, diagnosing, and identifying circuit and system issues
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on electronic equipment, circuit boards, and test systems
  • Maintain and troubleshoot on-site electronic test systems to help ensure reliable operations
  • Perform precision soldering, including work on fine-pitch components
  • Collect, evaluate, and document technical information and test results
  • Assist in creating, improving, and implementing electronics test procedures, processes, and setups
  • Support assigned technical projects by coordinating activities, tracking schedules, and communicating progress
  • Provide technical assistance to customers, including evaluating equipment damage and determining appropriate repair costs
  • Monitor and maintain electronic component and equipment inventory
  • Assist with production testing and other manufacturing-related technical activities
  • Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other team members on electronics-related projects and troubleshooting efforts


Requirements

  • Education – Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred; electronics apprenticeship, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered
  • Electronics Testing & Repair – Minimum 5 years of practical experience troubleshooting, testing, diagnosing, and repairing electronic circuits, assemblies, and equipment
  • Circuit Knowledge – Solid understanding of analog and digital electronics, including the ability to interpret schematics, circuit diagrams, and datasheets
  • Test Equipment – Proficiency using digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, laboratory power supplies, and other electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Soldering & Assembly – Demonstrated ability to solder and work with electronic components, including fine-pitch devices
  • Industry Background – Previous experience in electronics testing, electronics manufacturing, production testing, or a related technical environment is preferred
  • Technical Problem Solving – Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify hardware problems, determine appropriate repairs, and verify system operation
  • Project/Process Support – Ability to assist with the development, improvement, and implementation of electronics testing procedures, fixtures, processes, and setups; some project leadership background is preferred
  • Communication – Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to document technical findings and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
  • Work Style – Self-motivated and dependable, with the ability to work independently as well as effectively within a collaborative engineering and production environment
