Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ā
Responsible for profitability, client satisfaction, quality of services and the retention of employees on assigned Pacific Landscape Management sites.Ā
- ProvideĀ a high levelĀ of customer service and exceptional communication, both written and verbal. This includes being able to present information inĀ different waysĀ to gain comprehension at any level of organization or with outside clients and vendors.Ā
- Responsible forĀ identifyingĀ and selling ancillary services, including irrigation upgrades and site enhancement opportunities.Ā
- Be able to manage and execute a variety of diverse assignments.Ā
- Proactively manages properties to ensure quality standards areĀ being met. ActivelyĀ inspectsĀ andĀ identifiesĀ landscape problems prior to potential escalation.Ā Defines a workable resolution within customersā needs and budgetary parameters.Ā
- Produces billing documentation andĀ conductĀ customer walk-throughs.Ā
- Supervises to ensure that all employees are always working efficiently and safely. Ensures all crews are properly prepared, equipped, and functioning. Oversee the care of company assets in the field, vehicles,Ā shop, fieldĀ officesĀ and customerĀ work-sites.Ā
- Develop strong maintenance crews through quality leadership and hands-on training to enforce proper horticultural practices to ensure services are delivered in a manner consistent with contract specifications and company quality standards.Ā

QualificationsĀ
- Five (5) yearsā landscaping field experience and five (5) years of experience in property management andĀ Five (5) yearsā landscaping field experience and five (5) years of experience in property management and oversight.Ā
- Degree or Certification in Horticulture, or 5 years of experience in a similar or related position will be considered in lieu of degree or certification.Ā Ā
- Knowledge of plant identification common to the Pacific Northwest and information on care and maintenanceĀ required.Ā
- Common PNW Plant Identification, Disease and Pest Identification, and pruning techniques for PNW plantsĀ required.Ā
- Demonstrated knowledge of bonsai, Japanese Maple, or other specimen plantings is a plus; natural pruning techniques experienceĀ required.Ā
- Three (3) years of installation experience including knowledge of annual, perennial, and bulbous plants.Ā
- Three (3) years of experience working with irrigation (repairs, installation, troubleshooting).Ā
- Knowledge of Baseline systems is a plus.Ā
- Must be able to complete work reports and punch lists inĀ a timelyĀ and articulate manner with above average writing skills.Ā
- Must be able to complete weekly Garden Review Notes highlighting upcoming work and punch lists.Ā
- Current WA state Pesticide license or ability to obtain within ninety (90) days.Ā
- Experience in leading and supervising aĀ crews of 4-12 membersĀ and delegating tasks on site.Ā
- Must be able to prioritize work on site and work with subcontractors toward a common goal.Ā
- Knowledge and use of 2-cycle engines.Ā
- Currently hold andĀ maintainĀ a clean Washington state driver's license and haveĀ abilityĀ to pass a background check.Ā
- Proven ability to work with efficiency, flexibility, and good humor.Ā
