Work Location: Texas Health Alliance, 10864 Texas Health Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76244

Work Hours: Full-Time: Thursday – Friday OR Friday – Tuesday 8 Hour Day Shifts

Qualifications

 

Here’s What You Need:

Education

·        High School Diploma or Equivalent required (Individuals hired into the position prior to January 1, 2003, will be grandfathered with existing education).

Experience

·        1 Year Maintenance in commercial or industrial environment required.

·        1 Year in a Healthcare environment preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

·        DL - Driver’s License Upon Hire required.

·        CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days required.

Skills:

·        Proficient in the use of computerized systems for all aspects of job performance.

·        Ability to perform basic building maintenance functions to include painting and general repairs.

·        Working knowledge of basic hand/ power tool operation.

·        The ability to recognize and solve practical problems or issues.

·        Ability to communicate maintenance problems to hospital departments and departmental supervisors.

·        Ability to work in extreme temperatures.

·        Ability to work unsupervised and in teams.

·        Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.

·        Ability work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

 

What You Will Do:

·        Provide basic building repair and maintenance support including, but not limited to, general mechanical repairs, painting, electrical, plumbing, customer requests, grounds, and the like utilizing the computerized maintenance management system.

·        Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, education opportunities, and related training.
