Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily audits of Finished stock and consumables at both Riverside and Fontana locations and communicate any discrepancies or damage observed that require reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Execute inventory transactions in D365 (receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments)
  • Support production by ensuring material availability and accurate inventory locations
  • Identify root causes of inventory variances and support corrective actions
  • Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams on inventory flow
  • Track material movement, lot control, and traceability as required
  • Assist with audits and continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy
  • Regular communication and interaction with Operations, Finance, Planning, Foundry, Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement etc.
  • Participate in inventory counting procedures for internal or customer auditing purposes.
  • Advise management weekly of stocking item availability, and report out inventory levels along with adjustments and variances to ensure that materials are reconciled and replenished with minimal impact to production
  • Assist with report update and distribution of various supply chain metrics.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve accuracy of all inventory by identifying process changes or weaknesses that show opportunities to improve.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (required)
  • Experience managing raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Comfortable working on the production floor and in warehouse settings
  • Basic Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent knowledge of inventory control and quality control principles
  • Experience in manufacturing processes and stocking system
  • Teamwork is essential, must be willing to work closely and effectively communicate with co-workers
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Experience in metals, aluminum, extrusion, or fabrication manufacturing
  • Experience with cycle counting programs and inventory audits
  • Familiarity with barcoding or scanner-based inventory systems
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
  • Detail oriented and accuracy in work
  • Must have the initiative to identify, communicate, and correct problems, as well as adapt to change
  • Must be able to work overtime or “off shift” work hours, as required
  •  Must be willing to perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Minimum of High School Diploma

Primary location will be Riverside 

 

The pay for this position is $22.27 - $30.62. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic locations, skills, education, and/or experience.
