We're Hiring a Lead Teacher for Our Bubblegum Buddies 3-4 Year Old Classroom!

Lollipop Land Child Care is looking for a dedicated, energetic, and experienced Lead Teacher to join our team and lead our 3-4 year old class! We’re seeking someone who is passionate about early childhood development, values a calm and nurturing environment, and is ready to guide a team with positivity and professionalism.

Position:Lead Teacher – 3-4 Year Old Classroom
Location:Lollipop Land Child Care 415 Farnsworth Way Rigby, ID 83442

Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00-3:30

Responsibilities include:

  • with directors help develop age-appropriate lesson plans following center curriculum
  • Create a nurturing, safe, and engaging classroom environment
  • Train new staff on the CACFP food program, including meal documentation and compliance
  • Maintain accurate CACFP records, including daily meal counts, menus, and allergy tracking
  • Create and oversee the classroom cleaning schedule to ensure cleanliness and safety
  • Communicate regularly with parents using Procare for updates, messages, and daily reports
  • Conduct biannual parent-teacher conferences and address individual child development goals
  • Plan and coordinate classroom holiday parties and special events
  • Set the standard for classroom management and organization
  • Serve as a role model for coworkers by demonstrating professionalism, positivity, and leadership
  • Communicate classroom or child-related concerns promptly with the Director
  • Collaborate with co-teachers, assistant teachers, and administration to support center-wide objectives
  • Monitor and document each child’s growth and development, sharing progress with families
  • Ensure classroom meets all licensing and safety requirements
