Summary
The Senior Loan Servicing Specialist is responsible for the booking, servicing, system maintenance, collateral and document administration of the Capital Markets portfolio of originated, syndicated and participated loans where First South Farm Credit may be the Administrative Agent, a Syndicate Lender, a Direct Lender or a Participant. Acts as the liaison and operational point of contact for borrowers, syndicate lenders, Farm Credit System partners, and internal First South departments. Identifies, analyzes and resolves issues, answers questions, and proactively identifies loan administration challenges and risks to support quality control. Works collaboratively with teammates and stakeholders to facilitate continuous process improvement by leveraging operational excellence principles.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Loan Servicing and Loan System Administration (ACBS, and Related Systems)
•    Process loan payments including principal, interest, and fee transactions, funds     disbursement, rate setting transactions in ACBS, and notifies syndicate members and sold participations of transactions.
•    Support loan renewals, rollovers, and account maintenance activities.
•    Research and resolve payment discrepancies and servicing exceptions.
•    Completes ongoing customer, credit facility, and loan level maintenance.
•    Enter credit minutes and maintain risk rating information, including Probability of Default (PD) and Loss Given Default (LGD) ratings.
•    Conduct system research and ensure integrity of loan data across platforms.
•    Reads and interprets credit agreements as they relate to loan servicing and  administration.
Monitoring, Compliance, Reporting and Documentation Administration
•    Monitor past-due reports and assist with follow-up activities.
•    Maintain documentation within approved systems including AgDocs and DebtDomain.
•    Monitor monthly reporting of financials and compliance items for Borrowers and Participations.
•    Process collateral vault operations and file maintenance.
•    Coordinate document shipments and maintain organized loan files.
•    Monitor outstanding documentation and exception tracking processes.
•    Loan Booking and Closing Operations
•    Books new borrowers, credit facilities, loans, letters of credit and fees in loan administration systems.
•    Support customer onboarding and loan setup activities.
Wire Processing and Funding Support
•    Process and verify incoming and outgoing wire transfers.
•    Maintain supporting documentation and confirm transaction accuracy.
•    Track wire activity and assist with periodic reporting requirements.
•    Verify funding instructions and ensure accurate loan disbursement processing
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education: Â Â Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Agricultural Business, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Â
Prior Work Experience: Â Â 5 years of experience in loan operations, loan servicing, banking operations, credit administration, or a related financial services function preferred.
Certifications: Â Â Relevant financial operations certifications are desirable but not required.
