Job DetailsJob Location: Richmond, VA 23225Position Type: Full TimeEvergreen Enterprises is a world leader in the wholesale distribution of fine home furnishings, home & garden décor, strategic licensed brand products, and fashion accessories.   Responsibilities: An inventory specialist is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity.  Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:  Responsible for assisting in the management of inventory in bulk and piece pick warehouses.   Monitor and control inventory integrity through performance of physical count audits and adjustments.  Movement of product in warehouse to optimize the shipping process. Maintain product identification and location program.  Conduct research on inventory discrepancies and execute appropriate steps to reconcile them.  Complete physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations.  Track and report non-conforming product.  Resolve inventory problems and document damaged product in a timely manner.  Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.   Quality Inspector Skills and Qualifications: Must have a high diploma, GED or equivalent for this position.  Relevant warehouse experience within the last 2 years.  Recent experience with Cycle counting/inventory.  Able to operate a cherry picker and reach truck would be a plus Must be computer literate and have experience in any WMS.  Must be able to work efficiently in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment, while keeping correct data. Ability to conduct accurate research and report findings and results. Organized, punctual, self-motivated, task and detail-oriented and flexible. Ability to meet physical requirements of the job which include combination of standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 lbs. and computer use. Qualifications
