We are currently seeking a talented candidate who is excited to Live Up and join a culture that is dedicated to continual improvement and excellence as a full time onsite Human Resources Manager.

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Manager oversees the day to day HR function including recruitment, employee relations, benefit and compensation administration, HR compliance and performance management. This role supports a strong company culture and is a hands on single contributor with no direct reports. The Human Resources Manger reports to the CFO.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Management of end-to-end recruitment process to include authoring job postings, monitoring applicant flow, interviewing, preparing offer documents, and full onboarding and offboarding
  • Provides guidance to management on employee relations issues, conducts investigations, participates in the disciplinary/termination process
  • Supports company culture and employee engagement initiative to include annual surveys and management 360 reviews
  • Serves as an objective dual advocate by balancing fiduciary duty to the company while providing fair and lawful treatment to employees
  • Works with benefit broker to provide quality benefit plans to the company, handles Open Enrollment, new hire enrollment and all benefit administration
  • Keeps HRIS system up to date
  • Processes payroll with the support of a payroll administrator
  • Administers the growth review process and annual compensation review process, tracking compliance and assisting managers with the feedback loop
  • Coordinates and plans company events to includes training and development, company wide meetings as well as fun company events
  • Creates and maintains annual HR budget
  • Works with 3rd parties for regulatory and compliance reporting
  • Manages FMLA/STD/LTD and Workers Compensation leaves, claims and reporting
  • Develops, maintains and updates HR SOP's

 

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Self-directed and able to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining project schedules and deadlines
  • Strong critical thinking and decision making skills
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Discrete with sensitive and confidential information
  • Comfortable in a fast paced environment with multiple tasks and projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree preferred and progressive HR experience in an HR Generalist, HR Manager or similar role supporting employee relations, HR operations and manager guidance
  • SHRM and/or HRCI certification required
  • Senior HR certification required in lieu of Bachelors degree
