The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Senior-level Deputy Infrastructure and Applications Manager for the Global Mission Operations Support (GMOS) contract, supporting the Department of State.

Responsibilities:
Supports the design and implementation of physical, virtual, and cloud hosting environments supporting CA IT systems domestically and internationally in compliance with Department data sovereignty and DOS security requirements
Assists in managing global infrastructure operations including systems administration, database administration, network operations, and application support across domestic data centers, passport centers, visa processing centers, and overseas posts
Supports server and storage filer infrastructure engineering supporting distributed, high-volume data storage and networked file sharing while leveraging modern technologies for scalability, performance, and reliability
Supports Tier II and Tier III support for web applications, imaging applications, client-server applications, and specialized applications ensuring infrastructure meets defined service levels
Assists in implementing IaaS and PaaS capabilities enabling rapid, self-service provisioning of compute, network, and storage resources for production and non-production environments
Supports transition of server environments to hybrid or multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and expansion of containerized deployment strategies ensuring portability between on-premises and FedRAMP-compliant cloud environments
Assists in supervising geographically dispersed technical teams managing converged server/storage solutions, cloud migrations, and LAN, WAN, MPLS, and firewall operations for worldwide facilities
Provides technical and management support on major assignments, assists in establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives, and supports activities with shared responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing
Qualifications:
Required –
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
8+ years of relevant experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, systems engineering, cloud, or hosting environments. Additional relevant experience, education, or technical training may be considered in lieu of degree requirements.
Active Secret security clearance
Demonstrated experience supporting the design, implementation, administration, and sustainment of enterprise IT infrastructure across physical, virtual, and/or cloud-based environments.
Experience supporting large-scale, highly available hosting environments, including server, storage, virtualization, network, and application infrastructure.
Experience with Windows and/or Linux server environments, including installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, patching, performance monitoring, and lifecycle management.
Experience with virtualization technologies and platforms, such as VMware, Hyper-V, or comparable enterprise virtualization solutions.
Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities.
Experience with or demonstrated knowledge of AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, including compute, networking, storage, security, monitoring, and resource provisioning within enterprise environments.
Understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, including integration between on-premises infrastructure and cloud environments.
Experience supporting enterprise storage technologies, including network-attached storage, storage filers, distributed storage, data replication, backup/recovery, and high-volume file-sharing environments.
Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, VPN, routing, switching, firewalls, and network connectivity troubleshooting.
Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues spanning servers, storage, networks, applications, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure, including coordination across multiple technical teams when necessary.
Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, processes, and methodologies, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Request Management, and configuration management.
Experience supporting infrastructure changes, upgrades, migrations, technology refreshes, and/or modernization initiatives while minimizing disruption to production services.
Understanding of enterprise cybersecurity principles, including access controls, system hardening, vulnerability remediation, patch management, configuration management, and security compliance.
Ability to develop and maintain infrastructure documentation, including system configurations, architecture documentation, implementation procedures, operational procedures, and technical standards.
Ability to work effectively with geographically dispersed technical teams and stakeholders supporting complex enterprise environments.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
