Providence is calling for Supervisor Executive Protection- Full Time, Day, Onsite
The Supervisor, Executive Protection is responsible for ensuring the safety, welfare, and physical protection of a high-profile client while providing day-to-day leadership, operational oversight, and performance management for a team of Executive Protection Specialists. This role serves as the primary point of contact for security operations at the Renton building and ensures effective executive protection coverage during routine operations, special events, and emergency situations. The Supervisor manages team workflow, monitors staffing needs, maintains accurate time and attendance records, evaluates performance, conducts annual reviews, and supports staff development through coaching, training, guidance, and ongoing performance feedback.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in security management, Computer Science, or Business-related degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Related college course work may substitute for one year of experience.
- Coursework/Training: Successful completion of a recognized Executive Protection Course
- Coursework/Training: Proven training in De-escalation and defensive techniques
- Upon hire: Washington State Armed Security Guard License (Facility Managed)
- Upon hire: Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Protection Certification (PSP) (Facility Managed)
- Upon hire: Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) certification, or Combat Lifesaver (CLS) course (Facility Managed)
- Upon hire: CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification (Facility Managed)
- Successful completion of TASER© training and certification within 9 months of employment with annual re-certification (Facility Managed)
- upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
- 5 years of Law Enforcement/Security/Military experience.
- 2 years of Leadership experience, which can be met with direct supervisory experience, which can be met with direct supervisory experience, lead experience, project management experience, or other related experience.
- Executive Protection experience.
- Experience working with Intelligence and Protective teams.
- Experience in a healthcare setting.
