Pay: $18.80 - $20.10 per hour
Salary is commensurate with a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location.
Start Date: 10/12/26
Schedule: Thursday - Monday, Full-Time. Must be available to be scheduled between 5am and 10pm. Schedule is based on business needs and is sent three weeks in advance.
Travel: Throughout Reno and California with an average of 1–3 overnight trips per month as needed. Vitalant covers all meals and hotel accommodations, and a company vehicle is provided for travel.
Training: Phlebotomy training is completed in the first 90 days of employment. Training is Monday–Friday, in between the hours of 7:00 AM–4 PM.
No prior phlebotomy experience is required. Paid training is provided.

What You’ll Do
Most days you’ll conduct a blood drive in one of our buses; other days you’ll interact with donors at one of our local donation centers. Every day you will:
•   Greet donors, keeping them comfortable and informed
•   Perform blood draws (paid training provided)
•   Manage accurate and organized donor information
•   Receive coaching, encouragement, and support from caring managers who are invested your career and success
•   Set up, operate, and break down equipment at mobile blood drives
•   Package and transport blood products according to established procedures

Required Qualifications
•   High school diploma or GED
•   Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
•   Ability to travel throughout the service area, including overnight hotel stays
•   Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends as needed
