Real Results.   Summary  The Sales Account Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth through a combination of business development, account management, and inside sales activities. This role develops and maintains strong customer relationships, generates new business opportunities using various techniques and networking, and manages existing accounts to maximize sales and customer satisfaction. The Sales Account Representative serves as a trusted consultant to customers by identifying their needs, recommending product solutions, preparing quotes, and providing exceptional service throughout the sales process. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, consultative selling abilities, customer focus, and consistent execution of sales strategies to achieve growth objectives.    Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and grow a portfolio of new and existing customer accounts. Build long-term customer partnerships through a consultative sales approach that identifies customer needs and delivers appropriate solutions. Maintain knowledge of current products, services, and industry developments to effectively support customers. Advise customers on products, materials, tools, and services to meet project and business requirements. Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and product recommendations while identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Maintain accurate customer information, sales activities, opportunities, and account notes within the CRM system. Secure customer orders and ensure timely, accurate processing of transactions. Deliver exceptional customer service through responsive communication, problem-solving, and proactive account support.   The job description and responsibilities described are intended to provide guidelines for job expectations and the employee's ability to perform the position described. QualificationsPreferred Qualifications Minimum two (2) years of experience in sales, account management, business development, or a related customer-facing role. Strong prospecting, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, organize work effectively, and manage multiple customer relationships with outstanding customer service. Knowledge of construction, building materials, industrial products, or related industries a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to drive, stand and/or walk for extended periods; work in various weather conditions, and physically lift up to 50 pounds.
