SUMMARY: The Production Supervisor is a working leader responsible for overseeing daily operations within assigned production cells. This role serves as the primary point of contact on the production floor, driving output, quality, and efficiency while supervising leads and production employees. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead daily operations within assigned production cells and act as the primary floor contactÂ
- Supervise and support leads and production employees to achieve output, quality, and delivery targetsÂ
- Read and interpret prints, engineering documents, and work instructions and guide teams accordinglyÂ
- Assign work, set priorities, and manage production schedules and workflowÂ
- Monitor and maintain work-in-process and ensure material accountabilityÂ
- Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives including Kaizen events and Lean activitiesÂ
- Implement and maintain 6S standards across all work areasÂ
- Develop, maintain, and improve standard work for production cellsÂ
- Identify staffing, training, and resource needs and escalate as requiredÂ
- Mentor and train team members and support development of leads and operatorsÂ
- Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs for employeesÂ
- Recognize and support employee engagement and performance initiativesÂ
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and company policiesÂ
- Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to resolve production issuesÂ

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Â
- High school diploma or GED requiredÂ
- Group leading experience in manufacturing environmentÂ
- 5+ years of assembly or production experienceÂ
