Position Description

The Clinical Development Operations Associate supports department operations at Applied Medical through documentation, coordination, and operational support activities. This role also assists with maintaining records, gathering information, and coordinating team activities while developing a working knowledge of business operations, organizational processes, and company systems. The Clinical Development Operations Associate contributes to a well-organized, collaborative department through consistent administrative and operational support.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support operational activities and department objectives.
  • Maintain department records, documentation, and data.
  • Assist with data collection, reporting, and administrative support activities.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate routine team activities.
  • Escalate issues and concerns to the appropriate team member.
  • Support a collaborative team environment.

Position Requirements

This Position Requires the Following Skills and Attributes

  • Hold a college degree, such as an associate or bachelor's degree in business, operations, administration, or a related field of study.
  • Bring up to 1+ years of experience in administrative operations, customer support, or related roles.
  • Support team activities and maintain documentation accurately.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Windows based computer applications.
  • Apply strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
  • Manage responsibilities and deadlines with strong organizational skills.
  • Use basic reports, data, and system information to complete assigned responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate a foundational understanding of department processes and operational procedures.
  • Solve problems within established procedures and processes.

Preferred

  • Relevant administrative, business, or operational experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new systems, tools, and business processes quickly.
