Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time, hardworking, and enthusiastic Mobile Unit Patient Services Associate to join our team and support the delivery of quality, patient-focused healthcare services throughout our community. Under the direction of the Practice Manager, the Mobile Unit Patient Services Associate is responsible for providing professional, compassionate, and face-to-face customer service to patients and coworkers while accurately organizing, processing, and completing patient registration, medical records, referrals, and other administrative duties.
This position will support mobile healthcare operations by assisting with patient flow, coordinating services, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring patients receive a welcoming and efficient experience. The Mobile Unit Patient Services Associate will work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to provide accessible, high-quality healthcare services at various community locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in patients promptly, efficiently and in a professional and timely manner, while practicing patient confidentiality.
- Register each patient by obtaining, verifying, and inputting all required information accurately into the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collect and correctly post payments in accordance with Amplify Cash Management protocols.
- Accurately balance and close out cash drawer daily; make deposits as needed.
- Schedule, confirm, reconfirm, and reschedule patient appointments when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all program events and participant interactions.
- Function as secondary point of contact for inquiries, requests, and communications from external partners.
- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with external partners, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed effectively.

Education and Experience
- Minimum of High school Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years related experience working as a receptionist or front desk.
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel.
Preferred Skills.
- Bilingual
- Healthcare experience
- Front desk experience in a medical or dental office
- Non-profit and/or community health experience
- GE Centricity or EHR system experience
- Experience multi-tasking while providing quality customer service.
