The DoD is advancing its Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities, with a specific emphasis on providing processes and services to leverage the innovation ecosystem and exploit emerging DoD Information Environment Enterprise capabilities to bolster the Intelligence Warfighting function.

Challenging Projects:

As an ISR SME and Liaison Officer to CE-Intel on our team, you will assist commanding officers and staffs with operating via the Commandant of the Marine Corps’ Planning Guidance in support of HQMC Information and Intelligence Division (IID) in leveraging emerging intelligence tradecraft processes and procedures, while identifying and exploiting emerging DoD and greater IC capabilities to bolster the Intelligence Warfighting function.

Specifically, you will assist the client with integrating relevant IC tradecraft and data; leveraging existing IC programs and initiatives for innovation; and focusing on aligning solutions to problems unique to the DoD ISR enterprise. You will also assist with drafting and developing intelligence concepts and solutions while providing awareness of existing and emerging technical intelligence capabilities and opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist commanding officers and staffs in operating in accordance with the Commandant of the Marine Corps’ Planning Guidance.
  • Support HQMC Information and Intelligence Division (IID) in leveraging emerging intelligence tradecraft processes and procedures.
  • Identify and exploit emerging DoD and broader Intelligence Community capabilities to bolster the Intelligence Warfighting function.
  • Integrate relevant Intelligence Community tradecraft and data.
  • Leverage existing IC programs and initiatives to support innovation.
  • Align solutions to problems unique to the DoD ISR enterprise.
  • Assist with drafting and developing intelligence concepts and solutions.
  • Provide awareness of existing and emerging technical intelligence capabilities and opportunities.

You Have:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Be eligible for CAP/SAP/STO access
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution*
  • 12+ years of multi-intelligence USMC tactical to strategic level experience
  • Intimate knowledge of ISR-related operational and analytical technologies at various levels of command
  • USMC strategic-level leadership experience
  • Experience with the USMC requirements development process
  • Familiarization and experience in the integration and/or employment of USMC/MCISRE Intelligence Programs of Record
  • Use of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) style of task tracking through Confluence/JIRA or similar application

*Education/experience may substitute for degree/years of experience requirements for this position. 

Nice to Haves:

  • 20 years of multi-intelligence USMC tactical to strategic level experience
  • Knowledge of Marine Corps Force Design 2030 guidance and associated Navy-Marine Corps Operational Concepts
  • Experience in the integration and/or employment of rapidly developed prototypes to include AI/ML in military or intelligence applications
  • Experience with remote sensing and PED for multi-spectral FMV, SAR, and SIGINT data types and sensor modalities, as well as automatic tracking and correlation and/or fusion of remotely sensed data
  • Experience in development, coordination, and staffing concepts of operations/employment, plans, and policy for DoD intelligence
  • Experience with proposal writing and project management

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
