Eye Care Assistant  - Join Our Growing Team!
Are you looking for more than just another job? Premier Eye Associates is seeking a friendly, compassionate, and motivated Eye Care Assistant to join our growing private practice. This position offers the opportunity to learn multiple areas of eye care, including front desk, clinical technician, and optical duties. No previous eye care experience is required, as we provide comprehensive on-the-job training. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, adaptable, eager to learn, and ready to step in wherever needed to provide an exceptional experience for our patients.
What You'll Do
- Welcome patients, assist with check-in and check-out, answer phones, schedule appointments, and support front-office operations
- Guide patients through health histories, pre-testing, diagnostic testing, and other clinical aspects of their visit
- Assist doctors with patient flow, contact lens services, pre- and post-operative care, and patient education
- Help patients with frame selection, eyewear options, and other optical services
- Verify insurance benefits and assist with patient paperwork and information
- Educate patients about routine, preventative, and medical eye care
- Provide friendly, attentive service while helping wherever needed across the practice

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
The following are helpful but not required:
- Previous customer service experience
- Receptionist or front-office experience
- Medical or healthcare experience
- Optical or eyewear experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to stay organized in a busy environment
- Desire to learn multiple areas of an eye care practice
