Position Overview:
As a Salad Prep Cook, you will play a key role in preparing ingredients and assembling salads in high volumes. Your responsibilities will span the entire salad-making process—from prepping and assembling to labeling and packing orders for shipment. Attention to detail and efficiency are essential in maintaining quality and consistency throughout production.
Responsibilities:
•   Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble salads in large quantities
•   Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency
•   Prepare, assemble, label and pack salads for shipment.
•   Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
•   Utilize strong knife skills for efficient and accurate ingredient preparation.
•   Monitoring inventory levels of food items and supplies.
•   Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
Schedule:
•   Part-time position (15-20 hours per week average, can increase seasonally)
•   7:00am-12:30pm morning shift
Pay:
- $17.00-17.50 per hour depending on experience
Experience:
•   Preferred: Zero to One (0-1) years food service experience; Knife Skills a MUSTÂ
•   Preferred:  Serve Safe Certification
Skills:
•   Physical abilities: May be required to lift up to 80-85lbs.; standing, bending, lifting and twisting for up to 90% of your shift; frequently lifting product from various heights including floor level to over your head; Ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours daily; working in various temperature controlled environments; the ability to operate required material handling equipment – getting on and off equipment throughout shift
•   Strong communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders daily
•   Organizational Skills: Ability to fulfill large quantities in a timely manner; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
•   Working in a team-based environment: Working independently and as a team player to ensure our customers are receiving orders timely and with the highest qualityÂ
