Job DetailsJob Location: Downtown Health Center - Port Angeles, WA 98362Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $28.00 - $38.00 HourlyPosition Summary:  The Information Systems Engineer I at North Olympic Healthcare Network (NOHN) plays a vital role in supporting the organization's mission and core values by ensuring the reliable, safe, and secure operation of our technology infrastructure. This role focuses on maintaining and supporting critical systems, contributing to projects, and providing technical assistance to end-users, all while adhering to best practices for data privacy and security within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and committed to providing excellent service within a team dedicated to delivering world-class patient care.  Duties & Responsibilities:  Maintain essential IT infrastructure components, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.  Contribute to projects and solutions within larger business initiatives, as assigned.  Perform business-critical IT tasks and systems administration under guidance from the IT Director.  Assist in researching and evaluating emerging technologies, hardware, and software.  Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory.  Contribute to the analysis of departmental needs and identification of vulnerabilities, supporting improvements in productivity, efficiency, and accuracy.  Assist in ensuring network components work together seamlessly to meet organizational needs.  Support the analysis of processes, technologies, and vendors to identify areas for improvement.  Provide technical support and training to employees on the use of software and hardware; troubleshoot issues as needed.  Assist in the development and execution of disaster planning and data backup procedures.  Support the management and maintenance of the hardware/software lifecycle.  Assist in the management and maintenance of Active Directory/Azure AD, SMB Shares, PKI, Network switches, routers, firewalls, SAN equipment, and wireless devices.  Support the management of authentication technologies such as RADIUS, SSO, and MFA.  Contribute to the continuity and integrity of the network, servers, and other mission-critical equipment for all sites.  Collaborate with other departments to provide ideas and support the implementation of technologies that improve efficiency and business functions.  QualificationsSkills & Qualifications:  Ability to learn, collaborate, and work effectively within a team.  Working knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows Server), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance monitoring.  Experience in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions.  Analytical and problem-solving skills.  Experience working in a 501(c)(3) is a plus.  Knowledge of computer security best practices.  Good research and analysis skills.  Experience with VMware virtualization technology is a plus.  Experience with Windows Server 2019/2022 is a plus.  Experience with Active Directory/Azure Active Directory in a hybrid environment is a plus.  Experience with managing Microsoft Intune is a plus.  Experience with firewalls such as Fortigate and PFSense is a plus.  Experience with EMR software such as EPIC and Practice Partner is highly desirable.  Experience with aiding in the installation of medical devices and hardware and software is a plus.  Experience with PKI and other encryption technologies is a plus.  Experience with Polycom phone equipment is a plus.  Knowledge of ITIL concepts is a plus.  Knowledge of SolarWinds/Auvik Network monitoring tools is a plus.  Basic knowledge of Tableau is a plus.  Education & Training Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science.  Professional certifications: A+, Net+, CCNA, and Microsoft Certifications are desirable.  2-5 years of experience in information technology (experience level can be adjusted based on the specific requirements for an Engineer I role).  Benefits:   Medical, vision, and dental coverage; 4% employer 401(k) contribution; $50 monthly employer contribution to a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA); Paid Time Off (PTO); and paid holidays, subject to eligibility requirements and NOHN benefit policies.   Equal Opportunity Employer:   North Olympic Healthcare Network is an equal opportunity employer (EOE).
