About the Role:
Generator Supercenter of Savannah is looking for a motivated and hardworking Generator & Plumber Helper to join our growing team in Pooler, GA! This is a fantastic opportunity to get hands-on experience in the generator and plumbing trades while working alongside skilled technicians in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist lead technicians with generator installation, maintenance, and service calls
- Support plumbing tasks related to generator hookups, including gas line.
- Help transport, stage, and position generator equipment at residential and commercial job sites
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on job sites and in the service vehicle
- Assist with running conduit, wiring, and other electrical support tasks as directed
- Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures on every job
Requirements:
- Prior experience in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, or general construction is a plus
- Willingness to learn generator systems, plumbing basics, and trade skills on the job
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy equipment and working outdoors
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
