Overview

The Account Manager SBU (Small Business Unit) is responsible for managing and supporting a defined book of small business clients, with a primary focus on renewals, day-to-day account servicing, and client inquiries. This role serves as a key point of contact, ensuring a seamless client experience while delivering proactive, accurate, and high-quality service.


How you'll make an impact

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined book of small business accounts, serving as the primary contact for all service-related needs
  • Lead the end-to-end renewal process, including preparing plan comparisons, analyzing options, and delivering renewal materials in a timely manner
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, including eligibility, billing, and claims-related support
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, agents, and vendors, while advocating on behalf of client needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and efficient service delivery
  • Assist with client onboarding, enrollments, and implementation processes
  • Educate clients on benefits, products, and services to support informed decision-making
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure attention to detail across all account activity
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and service expectations

About You

Required: Bachelor's degree with 0+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience. Producer's License. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Appropriate licensing as required.

Preferred: Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships. Solid financial acumen.
