Position Summary:

Conduct analysis of company operations, systems, and workflows in order to design improvements.

Essential Functions:
● Collaborate with supervisor on assignments to understand goals and define requirements/action plans
● Research hardware and software technologies to maintain awareness of industry standards and best practices
● Design solutions to make the best use of IT resources (e.g., staff, time, budget) to achieve process improvements
● Manage assigned tasks by priority with a focus on efficiency
● Propose solutions to supervisor and stakeholders for evaluation and approval
● Write detailed requirements for software developers and IT staff
● Collaborate with software developers to analyze alternatives, clarify requirements, and test solutions
● Collect and analyze information to evaluate current process efficiency/performance and propose improvements
● Manage enterprise software vendor accounts and maintain software licensing compliance

Additional Duties:

● Address escalated support/production cases
● Travel to domestic and international field offices, subsidiaries, and satellite companies
● Use existing database systems and associated software
● Collaborate on enterprise technology training content and deliver training to new employees
● As assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

● An understanding of relational databases and how they are used within information systems
● Strong attention to detail
● Critical thinking and complex problem solving skills
● Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees
● Ability to communicate problems to others for support

Minimum Qualifications:
● Associates Degree from an accredited college or university required; Bachelors Degree preferred; Major or concentration in Information Technology/Systems/Science preferred
● Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in a manufacturing or high tech environment
● Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
● Must be authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship. Aerotech does not provide U.S. work authorization sponsorship for this position. OPT and CPT visa holders are not eligible for employment if they will need work authorization sponsorship at any time in the future.
