As an Associate Analyst - Pricing you will be responsible for customer price and cost loading activities, customer classification, report generation and customer incentive calculations. You will interact with pricing, purchasing and branch personnel.  Ensures data accuracy and integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Loads and maintains of supplier special cost authorizations, customer sell-side price agreements, and standard cost agreements.
  • Reviews existing price and cost agreements and initiates updates.
  • Maintains knowledge and awareness of upcoming supplier cost charges.
  • Applies customer sell-side price adjustments to prevent margin erosion.
  • Classifies new customers into customer groupings.
  • Monitors cost and price agreement expirations.
  • Gathers data, generate reports and ad-hoc files. 
  • Resolves issues with pricing, purchasing and sales departments. 
  • Monitors alerts to ensure system synchronization accuracy. 
  • Troubleshoots error reports. 
  • Maintains knowledge and awareness of upcoming supplier cost changes. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration required.
  • 1 year of data file comparison and analysis required, 3 years preferred.
  • 1 year of manipulating the data files to standardized templated required, 3 years preferred.
  • 1 year of loading data files into data management systems required, 3 years preferred.
  • Product data management systems
  • Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel 
  • Ability to operate various types of office equipment including computers 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage day to day activities 
  • Strong interpersonal 
  • Collaborative cross functional and management interaction
  • Data file conversion, mapping and manipulation 
  • Problem solving

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
