Mechanical Engineer

 Design Hire is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support mechanical design and documentation for technical facility projects. This role is a strong fit for an early-career engineer with HVAC, piping, and equipment design exposure who wants to grow within a multi-discipline engineering environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Support mechanical design work for facility systems, equipment layouts, piping, and related building infrastructure.
• Develop and update drawings, models, calculations, specifications, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, structural, and other project team members to support complete design packages.
• Review field information, markups, submittals, and project comments to help resolve design issues.
• Assist with construction-phase support, including document reviews, design updates, and technical coordination.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical engineering experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Background with HVAC, piping, equipment, or facility mechanical systems.
• Experience supporting technology, manufacturing, industrial, or technical facility projects preferred.
• Revit or AutoCAD experience preferred.
• Bluebeam experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication, organization, technical aptitude, and willingness to learn.
