As a Lead Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for leading the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) team responsible for New Product Introduction (NPI) programs within the Engines & Power Systems sub business unit. You will drive the successful implementation of new products from proposal into full rate production, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer requirements.

You will report directly to our Director of Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of NPI programs by collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing manufacturing processes, guiding and providing technical oversight to team members.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the ISC Engineering AME team for NPI programs, ensuring successful implementation from proposal to full rate production for new products with a focus upon design for manufacturing, design for cost, production readiness, and APQP elements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure efficient production
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase productivity
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline NPI processes and improve time-to-market
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve manufacturing issues and ensure product quality

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronics, or similar) from an accredited institution. Master's degree in engineering or related preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the aerospace, defense, or automotive industries
  • Minimum of 7 + years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and NPI methodologies
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives
