Per Diem Mid Level Provider position is available at Granite County Medical Center for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Position is responsible for the provision of medical services to patients, including but not limited to, diagnosis, treatment, procedures, therapy, prescription of medicines, in the Rural Health Clinic, Hospital and Emergency Room.

 

Position requires Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant with current licensure in good standing in the State of Montana. ACLS and PALS Certification required. ATLS recommended. Experience in a hospital, clinic, emergency room setting of at least 2 years. Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of medical practices. Excellent communication and customer service skills required. Must meet all health requirements required by law.

 

Ability to work well under pressure, establish priorities and adapt to change. Ability to work with patients of all ages, infant to geriatric. A self-motivated, creative, and positive personality. Ability to work with staff, family members, and community. Possess patience, good organizational skills, assertiveness, and be a conscientious person.

 

Present a professional appearance, be available for training and required meetings, be flexible in working hours and willing to cover for colleagues PTO if needed.

 

On call hours are required including shared weekends/mo and holidays. On call coverage requires a <30 minute response time and consists of rounds on inpatients and ER coverage. Must be proficient in the ER and comfortable working independently with no physician on site.
