Job description
An Office Assistant is highly organized and responsible. He/she must be a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills. The Office Assistant will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to multi-task. Not only does this position require in- office duties, but potential candidate must also have the flexibility to perform clerical and administrative tasks to support daily operation in the office setting. The following duties/tasks are not all inclusive and other duties/tasks may be assigned as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Answer phone inquiries, direct calls, and provide basic company information – This is the primary job for an office assistant. There should be no one else answering the phone at ACSA unless the Office Assistant is away from the desk or not working that day. Read phone etiquette below.
- Welcoming visitors to ACSA
- Scheduling meetings and sending meetings invites
- Ensuring the office runs smoothly
- Ability to print legibly
- Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets
- Ability to compose and send emails
- Track, record, and report data pertaining to quarterly meetings
- Refill all supplies in the waiting rooms, including, but not limited to, changing the water jug for the water cooler
- Know the agency process for incident reporting and consumer complaints
- Follow up with clients for prolonged hospitalizations
