As a full-time LPN , you will provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a mission-driven environment, helping clients achieve healthier, more stable lives through medication-assisted treatment and clinical support.

 

 
The LPN will: 
  • Administer/dispense methadone per State and Federal Guidelines
  • Ensure adequate recording of the administration/dispensing transaction
  • Ensure that the treatment plan of the physician and/or medical director is being followed 
  • Assess client response to treatment and medication dosage/interactions   
  • Maintain all medical records including but not limited to individual charts, daily medication charts, dosage records, progress notes, Doctor’s orders, etc., as required
  • Collect and prepare client specimens for point of care testing/external lab analysis 
  • Provide emergency care as needed (CPR, PMAB, Emergency Medications)

Qualifications
A qualified candidate will meet the following criteria: 
  • Graduate from an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
  • Current license as an LPN or RN in the Commonwealth of PA
  • 1 year of nursing experience is required 
  • Minimum one (1) year experience with dispensing narcotic medication, preferably in substance abuse treatment including treatment of opioid dependence
  • Current CPR certification

Preferred candidates will have: 

  • Experience with drawing labs, performing EKGs, wound care, and triage is preferred. 
  • Experience with chemically dependent population is preferred
