Sonic Summary

The position is responsible for managing financial and accounting processes related to clinical research activities, including invoicing and large data sets.
Key responsibilities include developing clinical research budgets, negotiating budget amendments, creating reports, and reviewing clinical trial agreements.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance, and have at least 2 years of experience in clinical trials budget development or contracts management.
Experience in an academic clinical research environment and an oncology setting is required, while familiarity with clinical systems and financial analysis is preferred.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Responsible for financial and accounting processes and deliverables related to clinical research activities invoicing & large data sets. This includes the development of clinical research budgets (from start to finish); budget amendments; budget negotiations; creating reports; reviewing clinical trial agreements; scientific protocol, and maintaining fee schedule updates. Must have strong attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.

Education
Bachelor's Degree Concentration in Accounting/Finance Preferred

Experience
2 years experience in clinical trials budget development and/or contracts management Required
2 years experience in an academic clinical research environment Required
2 years experience in an oncology setting Preferred
2 years experience with clinical systems (ONCORE, EPIC) Preferred
2 years experience in financial analysis Preferred
General Experience with PHARMA and government (ECOG, SWOG, NCI, NIH) Preferred
