 What You Will Be Doing - Handle a variety of bankruptcy and restructuring matters involving creditors, debtors, and other stakeholders.
- Represent clients in Chapter 7, Chapter 11, and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Prepare and review transactional documents related to bankruptcy and restructuring.
- Conduct detailed legal research and analyze complex legal and financial issues.
- Assist partners with case strategy, negotiations, and resolution of bankruptcy matters.
- Make regular appearances in bankruptcy court and participate in hearings.
- Communicate directly with clients regarding case status, strategy, and legal issues.
- Manage case deadlines, filings, and multiple matters simultaneously.
- Collaborate with partners and attorneys across different practice groups.
- Participate in business development initiatives as needed.
 Experience You Will Need - Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania or eligibility for prompt admission.
- Prior experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, or commercial litigation strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of bankruptcy law and restructuring principles.
- Experience drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and bankruptcy-related transactional documents.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Ability to analyze financial information, complex legal issues, and case strategy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify, assess, and resolve complex legal issues.
- Comfortable with court appearances and courtroom advocacy.
- Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, professional judgment, ethics, and client-service orientation.
- Must be comfortable working full-time, on-site in Philadelphia, PA.
