Department: Cardiac Stepdown PCU

Schedule: Night Shift | Full-Time | (3) 12 hour shifts | 7pm - 7am

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Support patient comfort and dignity by assisting with personal care and activities of daily living to foster a compassionate healing environment.

• Protect patient safety and mobility by aiding in proper positioning, transfers, and movement to prevent injury and advance recovery.

• Champion real-time patient advocacy by observing and immediately reporting physical, mental, or emotional changes to the nursing staff for swift intervention.

• Document patient care journeys accurately and efficiently to maintain reliable records that keep the entire care team aligned.

• Maintain pristine clinical spaces by keeping patient rooms clean, organized, and stocked with fully functional medical equipment.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What additional requirements you'll need

Prior patient care experience in the acute care setting.
