LPN will maintain an appropriate level of knowledge and clinical expertise through continuing education, inservice programs, departmental competencies and self-development activities.

Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Minimum:
• Graduate from an accredited school of Practical Nursing.


LICENSE:
Minimum:
• Current NYS LPN license.


PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum:
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through RQI; must obtain within 90 days of hire


WORK EXPERIENCE:
Preferred:
• Previous physician office experience preferred.


SKILLS:
Minimum:
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
• Computer literacy
Preferred:
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical record
